Attention! Excursions in the countryside on medium / long distances require rider’s ability to control the horse at the three gaits, including canter.

If you are looking for a short break holiday in the Italian countryside between Tuscany and Umbria and you like the idea of staying in a castle then we may have what you are looking for. Abandoned Etruscan settlements, lakes formed in volcanic craters and medieval edifices adorn the landscape of this enchanting Italian landscape. Located one and a half hours away from Rome the splendid 17th century castle borgo (complete with fairy tale turret) will be ‘your home’ throughout your stay.
ACCOMMODATION
-3 nights accommodation in Double Room in the restored Farmhouse (twin share, bathroom en-suite)

-Daily cleaning not included (available for 30 €)
-Full board, table wine included (picnic lunch when necessary; lunches will be served either in local restaurants or at the castle; dinner served at nearby local Restaurants)

RIDING
-4 half riding days (2-3 hours / day)
-Italian/English/German/Spanish speaking guides
-Level: from beginners (lessons in the arena) to intermediate
-2 Outdoor riding schools: 1) 25×60, 2) 33×60 with jumps
-Tack: English
-Horses: mixture of throughbred and warmblood crosses, ponies for the children
-Pace: moderate with trots and canters
-Helmet required
-Min. / max. riders: 1-5
-Max. rider’s weight: 100 kg
-Extra insurance is mandatory. 60 € / person

Note: We have good train connections from Rome to Orvieto which take approximately 1,5 hours.
