Abandoned Etruscan settlements, lakes formed in volcanic
craters and medieval edifices adorn the landscape of this
enchanting Italian landscape. Located one and a half hours
from Rome the splendid 17th century castle borgo(complete with
fairy tale turret) will be ‘home’ throughout your stay.
The castle has two swimming pools, a tennis court and ample
gardens and for those wishing to ride, well run stables with professional instruction
and miles upon miles of breath-taking trail riding awaits you.
RIDING DETAILS
- 5 riding days: 2 Full Riding days (4/5 hr. per day), 2 Half Days (1.5 hr. per day),introductory ride.
- Italian/English speaking guide.
- Level: from beginners (lessons in the arena) to intermediate
- 2 Outdoor riding school: 1) 25×60, 2) 33×60 with jumps
- Tack: English
- Pace: moderate with trot and canter .
- Attention :Excursions in the countryside on medium\ long distances require an ability of the rider to control the horse at the three gaits ,including canter .
- Min/Max riders: 1-5
- Max weight of the riders: 100 Kg
The horses are a mixture of different breeds from thoroughbreds to italian saddle and dutch warmbloods, all chosen for their
excellent temperaments, their patience and their delight for travelling through this enchanting countryside!
There are two outdoor arenas and lessons are available for all ages and levels in both
dressage and jumping.
Facilities at the castle include:

- Mountain bikes (20E per person per day)
